Fisherman Held for Violation of RA 9262

TUKURAN, Zamboanga Del Sur (Dec. 22, 2018) - PNP personnel of Tukuran MPS, conducted police operation on wanted person (Service of Arrest Warrant) at about 10:35 AM of December 22, 2018 at Purok Maruba, Brgy. Alndahaw, Tukuran, Zamboanga Del Sur. 

The operation resulted to the arrest of Roy Ramos Y Boja, a 37 years old, male, married, a fisherman, and a resident of Prk. Maruba, Tukuran, Zamboanga Del Sur.

The accused was arrested by virtue of Warrant of Arrest for violation of R.A. 9262 docketed under Criminal Case No. 14108-2k18 issued on November 21, 2018 by Honorable Judge Analyn F. Ramas- Costanilla, Acting Presiding Judge of Regional Trial Court Branch 22, 9th Judicial Region Pagadian City with a bail bond recommended of Seventy-Two Thousand Pesos (Php P72, 000.00) for his temporary liberty.

The arrested person is now under the custody of Tukuran MPS for proper disposition.

Stabbing Incident

TUKURAN, Zamboanga del Sur (Dec. 11, 2018) - Stabbing incident transpired at Purok Gumamela Barangay Sugod, Tukuran, Zamboanga Del Sur at about 7:40 PM of December 10, 2018.

The victims was identified as Antonio Reyes Y Layawan, of legal age, farmer and his live-in partner Lourdes Ladian Y Sarsalejo, both residents of Barangay Sugod Tukuran, Zamboanga Del Sur.

Investigation disclosed that the two victims went outside their house when suspect identified Elias Enot of legal aged, married, fisherman and a resident of Barangay Libertad, Tukuran Zamboanga del Sur, drunk, with a bolo and arrow confronted them and after having a short-heated argument, the suspect struck his bolo towards the victims but managed to intercept the first attack, but said suspect continued to attack both victims using his arrow.

Victims suffered non-fatal stab wounds in different parts of the body but managed to escape and shouted for the assistance of Barangay Tanods.

The two victims brought to Tukuran Municipal Health Center for immediate medical attention.

The suspect was arrested by the barangay tanods, confiscated from him the bolo and arrow used in the incident and turned over to Tukuran MPS.

The arrested suspect and weapons used in the incident is now under custody of Tukuran MPS for proper disposition.

1 person died in Motor vehicular traffic accident

TUKURAN, Zamboanga del Sur (Nov. 16, 2018) – One person was died in Motor vehicular traffic accident transpired at National Highway of Purok 3, Barangay Navalan, Tukuran Zamboanga Del Sur at about 6:00 PM of November 15, 2018.

The victim was identified as Andres Gongob Entero, 79 years old, married, farmer and a resident of same place, he was hit and bumped by a pick-up (Nissan Navarra) vehicle, color orange with plate for registration.

Investigation conducted disclosed that the victim suddenly crossed the road of the said highway when the fast-moving vehicle described above hit/bumped him.

The driver of the vehicle did not stop and instead drive away while the victim was thrown to the road who sustained severe injuries in the head and other parts of his body which caused of his death.

Suicide Incident

TUKURAN, Zamboanga del Sur (Nov. 11, 2018) - Suicide incident took place at Barangay Sugod, Tukuran, Zamboanga Del Sur at about 7:00 AM of November 10, 2018.

The PNP personnel of Tukuran MPS proceeded to the Barangay Sugod, Tukuran, ZDS to verify the veracity of the said report.

Upon arrival at the location, the lifeless body of a certain Hernel Suan Burja, 32 years old, married, and a resident of Purok Bumbil, Barangay Sugod, Tukuran, Zamboanga Del Sur was discovered hanging by his neck with a bag strap as rope tied to the branch of a star apple tree.

A thorough investigation conducted disclosed that the victim had a simple quarrel with his wife Irene Bahala Burja, 32 years old, female in the evening of November 09, 2018 and during their quarrel, the victim exclaimed that he will kill himself.

The victim left at about 8:00 in the evening of that day, and never returned the entire night.

Meanwhile, at about 7:30 AM of November 10, 2018, his lifeless body was discovered hanging lifeless from the star apple tree near his house.

The said body was later removed by personnel of Tukuran MPS and was brought to the mortuary.

Man Arrested for the Crime of Malicious Mischief

TUKURAN Zamboanga del Sur (Nov. 8, 2018) – The PNP personnel of Tukuran Municipal Police Station arrested one person during the conduct od police operation (Service of Warrant of Arrest) at Purok 2, Brgy. Navalan, Tukuran Zamboanga Del Sur at about 7:30 in the evening of November 07, 2018.

The operating team identified the arrested suspect as Wilmer Arias Y Feliciano Aka Bongbong ,34 years old, interior designer, single and a resident of Barangay Navalan, Tukuran, Zamboanga del Sur

The accused was arrested by virtue of Warrant of Arrest for the crime of Malicious Mischief docketed under Criminal Case no. 1621-T issued by Judge Norlinda R. Amante-Descallar, Acting Presiding Judge of 9TH Municipal Circuit Trial Court of Labangan-Tukuran, 9th Judicial Region Pagadian City, issued on December 02, 2016.

Subject arredted person is listed as Wanted Person (Municipal Level) in Tukuran, Zamboanga Del Sur. He is now temporarily detained at Tukuran Municipal Police Station for proper disposition. 

Suicide Incident

TUKURAN, Zamboanga del Sur (Nov. 2, 2018) -  Suicide incident transpired at Purok Riverside, Barangay Militar, Tukuran, Zamboanga Del Sur. The victim was already lifeless lying in the ground with hanging rope beside him and rope mark in his neck believed caused his death.

Victim is identified as Jessie Tortoga Y Lantaca 43, years old, married, fisherman and a resident of Purok Riverside Barangay Militar, Tukuran Zamboanga del Sur. 

Investigation conducted disclosed that victim left his home at around 8:00 0’ clock in the evening of November 01, 2018 and told his wife that he will go for fishing but failed to come home.

The wife believed that the victim went to fishing, however at 4:00 in the morning of November 02, 2018, victim was found/discovered already hanging in the tree at the back of his house by his mother -in law. Because of compassion and pity situation/feeling. They cut the rope so that the body could go down.

Motive of his hanging is not yet known since the family members had not observed any unusual behavior displayed before the incident happened.

The dead of body of the victim is now lies at their house of said  Barangay.

2 UXO Found

TUKURAN, Zamboanga del Sur (Oct. 4, 2018) - On October 3, 2018 at about 3:05 PM, The person of Bheza Dosdos Apales, 56 years old, married, government employee of LGU Tukuran and a resident of Brgy Sto Niño, Tukuran, Zamboanga Del Sur.

She personally reported to Tukuran MPS that she found two big bullet inside a drawer of a wooden cabinet while they were doing cleaning at a canteen near Tukuran Municipal Gymnasium and requested for the assistance of PNP personnel of Tukuran MPS for proper turned over of said items.

Immediately, personnel Tukuran MPS together with RMFB9 EOD Mobile team proceeded at the area and recovered 2 unknown unexploded ordnance and conducted verification and found out that those two unexploded ordnance are; one vintage 60MM mortar and one vintage MK1 36 MM handheld illuminating grenade.

RMFB9 EOD Mobile team immediately secured and cleared the above-mentioned vintage bombs and brought to their office for proper disposition.

1 killed in Hacking Incident

TUKURAN, Zamboanga (Aug.18, 2018) – One person was killed in Hacking incident transpired at Purok Mauswagon Pasil, Barangay Sto Niño, Tukuran, Zamboanga Del Sur at about 8:45pm of August 16, 2018.

The police identified the victim as Reynaldo Bermudes Bueno, 44 years old, married, carpenter and resident of the above-mentioned place. He was seen lying on the ground bathed with his own blood, with one fatal hacked wound on his neck that caused his death. 

Initial investigation conducted disclosed that the victim and the suspect identified as Jimmy Valero, 50 years old, married, tricycle driver and resident of same place, both under the influence of liquor, had an intense argument.

The suspect got angry and got his bolo then hacked the victim once hitting his neck, and then run towards the mangrove area of said place.

The responding PNP personnel of Tukuran MPS together with Brgy Tanods were conducting hot pursuit operation for the possible arrest of the suspect. The dead body of the victim now lies at his residence.

Top Most Wanted Person and High Value Target of PRO9, Arrested in Tukuran, Zamboanga Del Sur

TUKURAN, ZaamboSur (Aug. 2, 2018) – The joint teams from Regional Intelligence Division 9, 902nd MOBILE Company of RMFB9 and Tukuran MPS successfully arrested the wanted person during the conduct of Dragnet/Stake-Out/Checkpoint Operation at Barangay Militar, Tukuran, Zamboangadel Sur on July 29, 2018 at about 9:30pm, Police official said.

Police Regional Office 9 (PRO9) PIO Chief PCINSP Helen L. Galvez identified the arrested wanted person as Amer Palada @ “Jay-Ar” Or “Amer” (later fully identified as Jehar Mohammad Nalangan). He was arrested by virtue of Warrant of Arrest for the crime of Murder docketed under cc# IM-18-1636 and Kidnapping/Serious Illegal Detention docketed under Criminal Case # IM-18-1664 issued by Judge Vicente S. De la Plaza 11 , Acting Presiding Judge of RTC9, Branch 31, Imelda, Zamboanga Sibugay with no bail bond recommended, PCINSP Galvez disclosed.

Galvez said that the Regional Intelligence Division 9 (RID9) listed the accused as Top Most Wanted Person, Regional Level and High Value Target (Regional Level).

Galvez added that the Personnel of Regional Intelligence Division (RID), PRO9 brought the arrested wanted person to Imelda Zamboanga Sibugay for disposition and for issuance of commitment order from the Court.  (By JONG CADION)

Soldier arrested for shooting in Tukuran

TUKURAN, Zamboanga del Sur (April 29, 2018) – The operating personnel of Tukuran Municipal Police Station arrested a soldier for involving in a shooting incident Sunday at about 12:15am in Purok Pugapo, Barangay Alindahaw in this municipality.

The case investigator PO3 Alenadel Sudaria Olivar in the initial investigation disclosed that a the victim of shooting incident identified as Suharto Panduma Calib, 46 year old, married, painter by occupation and resident of Purok Kinhason, Barangay Panduma in this municipality.

PO3 Olivar added that the suspect was also identified as PFC Gil Mirantes Tayros, active member of Philippine Army assigned in 11DRC, stationed at Marawi City.

Investigation further said that prior to the incident; the victim and his companion arrived at the store owned by the mother of the suspect of said place to buy a bottle of beer when an intense argument ensued between them.

Allegedly, the suspect suddenly got a short firearm inside their house and shot the victim four times hitting on his left and right calf (feet).

The victim was immediately brought to Aiza Hospital for immediate medical treatment while suspect was immediately arrested at Purok Pugapo, Barangay Alindahaw of this town by the responding PNP personnel of Tukuran MPS.

The firearm used by the suspect believed to be caliber 45 pistol and was not recovered in his possession during his arrest, PO3 Olivar said.

The suspect is now temporary detained at Tukuran Municipal Detention Center while an inquest case for frustrated homicide is being prepared for filing in court. (By JONG CADION)

Drug Suspect Arrested in Tukuran

TUKURAN, Zamboanga Del Sur (April 13, 2018) – The Personnel of Tukuran Municipal Police Station headed by the Acting Chief of Police Senior Inspector Roel Jaictin Japay conducted buy-bust operation at Purok Rizal, Barangay Santo Niño of this municipality Thursday at about 9:15pm.

SInsp. Japay disclosed that the illegal drugs operation resulted in the successful arrest of the suspect identified as Jose Guihapon Wison, 24 years old and his live-in partner. The suspect is a resident of Purok Pugapo, Barangay Alindahaw, Tukuran, Zamboanga Del Sur.

Recovered from his possession and control were one piece of small plastic heat-sealed sachets containing white crystalline substance suspected to be methamphetamine hydrochloride locally known as shabu, the Police Official said.

Police estimated the illegal drugs weight of .003 grams and with street value of five hundred pesos (P500.00), one rolled aluminum foil and marked money worth of five hundred pesos (P500.00) with serial number  bh057545, SInsp. Japay said.

SInsp. Japay added that the suspect together with the recovered evidences were immediately brought to Tukuran MPS for proper disposition and an inquest case for violation of ra 9165 is being prepared against him.

Rape Suspect Arrested in Tukuran

TUKURAN, Zamboanga del Sur (April 2, 2018) – A Joint operation against wanted person conducted by personnel of Tukuran Municipal Police Staton (MPS) and Regional Intelligence Unit-9 (RIU9) at Purok Kamunggayan, Barangay Santo Niño of this municipality on Saturday March 31, 2018 at about 9:25 pm.

The joint operation was resulted to the successful of the suspected rapist. The suspect identified as Jade Tumagna Mutia, 27 years old, jobless and a resident of same place.

The suspect was arrested by virtue of Warrant of Arrest issued by Presiding Judge Benjaimin R. Lanzaderas of RTC 9, Branch 22, Pagadian City for the crime of Rape In Relation To RA 7610 docketed in Criminal Case number 11261-2k14 dated October 8, 2014.  

Accused is listed top 8 most wanted person Municipal level and now temporarily detained at Tukuran MPS while waiting the commitment order from the issuing Court for proper disposition with no bail bond recommended. (By JONG D. CADION)
