Farmer Held in Zambo Sur for Violation of R.A. 10591

TUKURAN, Zamboanga del sur - Combined elements of 53rd Infantry Battalion of Phil Army led by 2nd Lieutenant Alvin Ibarra in coordination with Tukuran Municipal Police Station and COMELEC have arrested a violator of R.A. 10591 during random COMELEC checkpoint at Purok 4 Barangay Navalan Tukuran Zamboanga Del Sur about 11:15 PM of May 12, 2019.

Police Brigadier Gen. Emmanuel Luis D Licup, PRO9 Director identified the arrested person as Ranier Ponteras Y Colita, 53 years old, married, farmer and a resident of Purok 4 Barangay Sambulawan, Tukuran, Zamboanga del Sur.

Accordingly, the suspect was onboard on single motorcycle and was flagged down for inspection.

During the said inspection the suspect admitted that he was carrying an unlicensed firearm concealed on his waist which leads to the conduct of bodily search by operating troops of 53rd Infantry Battalion of Phil Army.

Confiscated from the possession and control of the suspect one unit caliber .45 pistol Colt with serial no. 782556, one (1) magazine with (7) live ammunition and one hunting knife.

The suspect is now under the custody of Tukuran Municipal Police Station for proper disposition.

Top 6 Most Wanted Person of Tukuran MPS, Arrested

TUKURAN, Zamboanga del Sur - Police operatives of Tukuran Municipal Police Station and Sultan Naga Dimapuro Municipal Police Station conducted joint operation against wanted person at Purok 6, Sitio Cartimco, Brgy. Poblacion, Sultan Naga Dimaporo, Lanao Del Norte at about 12:20 PM of May 5, 2019.

Police Brigadier Gen. Emmanuel Luis D Licup, PRO9 Director said the operation was resulted to the arrest of the suspect identified as Enrique Marson Y Pinanonang, 27 years old, married, Fisherman and Top 6 Most Wanted Person of Tukuran MPS and resident of same place.

He was arrested by virtue of warrant of arrest docketed under Criminal Case number 10141-2k11 issued by Acting Presiding Judge Romeo T. Descallar of RTC 9th Judicial Region, Branch 20, Pagadian City dated December 27th, 2011 for the crime of Murder with no bail recommended.

The Accused is now temporarily detained at Tukuran Municipal Police Station for proper disposition.

Hacking Incident

TUKURAN, Zamboanga del Sur (Aril 10, 2019) - Hacking incident transpired at Purok Gemilina, Barangay Lower Bayao Tukuran, Zamboanga del Sur at about 12:20 PM of April 7, 2019, perpetrated by suspect identified as Rogelio Bugtong Y Rico, 74 years old, married, jobless and a resident of Purok Gemilina, Barangay Lower Bayao, Tukuran, Zamboanga del Sur.

The victim was identified as Jhon Tremeñes Y Española 42, years old, single, construction worker and a resident of Purok Bangus, Barangay Lower Bayao Tukuran, Zamboanga del sur.

Investigation conducted disclosed, that both victim and suspect were drinking alcoholic beverages earlier together with their other friends when a heated argument by both parties aroused which allegedly become the primary cause of the incident.

The victim suffered hack wounds on different parts of his body by a crosscut saw used by the suspect. The victim was immediately rushed to Zamboanga del Sur Medical Center, Dao Pagadian City for proper medical attention.

Suspect is now under the custody of Tukuran Municipal Police Station for proper disposition.

Murder Suspect Arrested

TUKURAN, Zamboanga Del Sur (Feb. 14, 2019) - Police operatives of Tukuran Municipal Police Station conducted operation at Purok Bougainvilla, Barangay Curvada, Tukuran, Zamboanga Del Sur at about 1:30 PM of February 13, 2019.

The operation was resulted to the arrest of George Gozalo Y Diaz, 54 years old, married, farmer and a resident of same place. The accused was arrested by virtue of warrant of arrest docketed in Criminal Case number 14165-2K19 issued by Presiding Judge of RTC 9th Judicial Region, Branch 21, Pagadian City dated January 31, 2019 for the crime of Murder with no bail bond recommended.

He was temporarily detained at Tukuran MPS for proper disposition.

Dead Body Found

TUKURAN, Zamboanga Del Sur (Feb. 4, 2019) - A dead body was found along the riverbank of Purok 4, Brgy Navalan, Tukuran, Zamboanga Del Sur at about 9:30 AM of February 3, 2019.

Upon receipt of the report PNP personnel of Tukuran MPS immediately proceeded to the area.

Initial investigation conducted disclosed that at about 9:30 o’clock in the morning February 3, 2019, a tanod of Brgy. Navalan, Tukuran, Zamboanga Del Sur found a dead body of the above-mentioned place, and was identified later as Victor Miñoza, of legal age, a rice duck caretaker, with live-in partner and a resident of Brgy., Buloran, Midsalip, Zamboanga del Sur who sustained 3 fatal wounds allegedly through the use of firearm.

Car Thief Held in Tukuran, Zambo Sur

TUKURAN, Zamboanga del Sur (Jan. 5, 2019) – The PNP personnel of Tukuran MPS led by Police Senior Inspector Roel J Japay, Chief of Police, conducted police operation (Service of Arrest Warrant) at about 10:25 in the morning of January 04, 2019 at Purok 3, Barangay Tagulo, Tukuran, Zamboanga Del Sur.

The operation was resulted to the arrest of the suspect identified as Ricky Malagum Y Saladaga, 49 years old, married, jobless and resident of same place.

The accused was arrested by virtue of Warrant of Arrest for the Crime of Carnapping, docketed under Criminal Case No. 21-2155, issued by Hon. Alberto P. Quinto, Presiding Judge, Regional Trial Court, 12th Judicial Region, Branch 21, Kapatagan, Lanao Del Norte, dated December 15, 2018 with bail bond recommended of Three hundred thousand pesos (Php300,000.00).

Subject person is now temporarily detained at Tukuran MPS detention center awaiting court disposition.
